Education Should Be Accessible
There are lots of ways to pay for your education. With financial assistance, many of our students have their tuition completely covered through provincial and federal loans and grants. Payment plans are available for those who do not wish to apply for financial aid, or are not eligible. We are here to assist you through this entire process.
Access to Provincial and Federal Funding
As a full-time student, you will be able to apply for both provincial and federal student aid. If you are an Alberta resident, you can apply online for both types of funding at the same time.
Loan amounts are determined based on financial need, and repaid after you graduate or leave school. Grants are also awarded based on financial need and special circumstances and do not have to be repaid.
After you’ve applied, you can schedule a free Student Aid Consultation with one of our admissions staff!
No-Fee Tuition Installment Plan
Our no-fee, no-interest tuition installment plan makes paying for school even more convenient. Your tuition is broken into three payments throughout the school year. Speak to an admissions representative for more details!
There are huge number of awards and scholarships available to Alberta residents to help pay for school. Check out which ones you’re eligible for here.
Open House and Personalized Tour Bursary
It pays to come for a visit! Attend the Open House or book a personalized tour to have a look for yourself at our space and materials, and you will be entered in a draw to win a $500 tuition credit. Come, ask questions, and find out why we are your best choice for an exceptional massage education.
This grant is offered to any student who lives 100 kilometers or more from the closest campus. The grant is $500 per school year, and is applied toward their tuition. Talk to a member of our admissions staff to find out if you’re eligible!
I was expecting a dingy beige classroom, maybe in a basement. Instead, it was open and inviting, with areas to sit and visit, and lots of windows. I thought it was clean, fresh, and bright.
Lifelong Learning Plan
Canada’s Lifelong Learning Plan allows you to withdraw amounts from your registered retirement savings plan (RRSP) to finance full-time education and training for you or your spouse or common-law partner. Visit the Government of Canada’s website for more details.
Funding Options for First Nations Students
If you are a First Nations student and are affiliated with a band, you can apply directly to your band for sponsorship. Call your band and ask for the education or post-secondary education funding department for more information.
Work And School Balance
Even if financial aid options are not available, MH Vicars program’s innovative independent learning format makes it possible for students to work part- or even full-time while studying with us. Because our students can choose to attend classes one day a week, one long weekend per month, or on select weekends, you won’t have to relocate to Edmonton or Calgary and can continue living and working in their home communities.
