Advanced Placement Option
Massage practitioners who have graduated from a short course (a one-year program in relaxation massage, for example) that is similar to our first year may qualify to attend our second year, which refines and builds on their skills, covering pathology, assessment and treatment, and advanced practice management.
If you have an acceptable qualification in basic relaxation massage or the equivalent, you will be allowed to challenge our first-year exam. The pass mark is 75% in written, oral and practical components. You will need the first-year materials, and should attend a Module 9 tutorial for review of techniques.
